Today I have decided, after much thought to combine these two days and use the same photo but also use this opportunity without spamming your feeds with multiple posts to as the theme says reflect on some of the best bits of my 2013.
I chose this because I think my guitar is awesome so that’s how it fits into Day 28. But it also fits into Day 29 because after 4 years of having the guitar I finally taught myself how to play, at least the basics on it so that was one of the high lights of my summer and this year.
Along side that here are some of the best moments of my 2013
Work : Once again over the summer I got two jobs, one is still my current job and I am enjoying it. Even though it may not be my future career I’m glad that I can say I enjoy going to work and get on with the people there.
I also worked twice as an extra for Hollyoaks, these were brilliant opportunities and I loved having the chance to be on a tv shoot since I would love to work within tv or film later on in life.
Another great part of my year was going to Centre Parcs with my family and boyfriend during Easter to celebrate my brothers 18th birthday. It was wonderful to all get together and have a holiday and we got to all try out and do things that we wouldn’t normally do. This meant the boys (and my bf) went paintballing. And the ‘adults’ (also including my bf) went to the spa. This was first experience of a spa and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn’t have any treatments but we got to experience all the different rooms. I get to experience my first ever treatment in the new year since I got a gift voucher for a facial from my mum for Christmas.
And finally and I think most importantly after deciding to take two acting modules in the last term of the year while on my Technical Theatre course. Where I ended up playing the part of Ellen in the play Vinegar Tom. I decided to change course for this year and go onto the Acting course that my college provides. This has been a huge step for me as I have loved acting and performing since at least the age of 13 but have avoided doing a course related too it for years. But I have now decided not to ignore what I love so have taken the plunge. And I am now so happy with my choice. I have made some incredible friends in the short term I have been on the course and I also have 4 auditions/interviews for university/drama school to study acting further next September.
What do I hope for the New Year? Well I can see a period of stressful times over the next few months when I am going through all my auditions and interviews and then waiting for offers and then finally choice where I should be spending the next three years. But I look forward to it. I also foresee lot’s of new challenges. Including the #2014 bloggers challenge that I am apart of which begins in 2 days. As well as personal challenges that I will be setting myself.
What have been the best parts of your 2013? What are you looking forward to in the New Year?
I hope you’ve liked today and yesterday’s cheat photo and look forward to the last two of this challenge. And then what is to come next. I certainly am. I shall see you tomorrorw.
