My first attempt at vloging. Here is what my friends and I got up to on a recent trip into town. I hope you enjoy.
So I’ve been thinking about the name of my blog and I’ve decided I want to change it because I feel that the title Fashion Novice sends out the right message of what I’m going to be posting on my blog. I enjoy writing about fashion but I don’t want this blog to just be about that and I also don’t think I know enough for that.
I thought I’d just give a quick update so you all know why the name suddenly changes, once I’ve figured out how to.
Thanks for reading, see you next time
Wow I’m still failing horribly at posting regularly on here but today I bring you another post.
I have recently just finished this book series. I actually first started it years ago when I was in 6th form but when they brought out the films I decided to go back and read the rest of the series.
I know that they’re aimed at a younger audience than my actual age but even at 21 I loved them. I enjoy Greek Mythology anyway and I found that Rick Riordan’s interpretation of them into a modern day setting was wonderful.
As I said I read the first one when I was in 6th form but after that I read the other four within about 6 months. I say read, I don’t tend to read physical books anymore, unlike most people I prefer reading electronically through a kindle app or listening to the books as audio books.
But I now find myself bookless, I’m thinking about starting on either of Rick Riordan’s new series but I would like something new to read so any suggestions would be great. I’m open to anything so I will try most things.
I hope you enjoyed this post. I will try to be more active on here soon so I shall talk to you next time.
So the last two days I’ve been awful! I’ve not posted my photos for those days. On Wednesday I was feeling ill and was a bit down because I lost my voice so it was unlikely I’d be able to do my last performance of my colleges pantomime. Thursday I was still voiceless so I couldn’t do the performance but I went to college any way to support my cast on the performance. So when I got home at 10.30 all I wanted to do was go to bed.
So watch this space because today I shall bring you not one, not two but three photos to make up for the last two nights and also today’s photo!
Well today I thought I’d be able to have a nice and relaxing day off from college with just a three hour shift in work…how wrong I was. I am currently (once again) putting myself through the ordeal of applying to university. And yesterday I completed and sent off my UCA’s form so it’s all now down to my tutor, and I don’t have to worry until I can start looking at offers ect.
But no, the nature of the courses I’m applying to means that I have to audition, so instead of giving myself a day not thinking about it all I’ve spent the last few hours researching songs that I could use for the audition. I’m no closer to picking them than when I started, so I think I’ve had wasted evening….Though I did have some fun sitting there singing all the songs that I was looking at.
There wasn’t much actually behind this post just a brief thought and update….sorry.
See you next time
Since I’m rather new at bloging I’ve decided to become a part of the #2014 BloggerChallenge for next year. Each month all the blogger’s involved will be given two topics to write about and these blogs will be posted during the 1st and the 3rd week of the month.
I like the look of it because not only will it help me gain confidence within writing my blog and keeping up constant uploads, but some of the topics maybe ones that I would never have considered writing about myself so will give me a chance to try something new.
This has been put together by AnotherGirlyBLog. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in taking part in either head over to her blog using the link above and leave her a comment on the blog post or e-mail her your blog URL, email address and name so you can get involved.
I’m looking forward to what challenges this will bring and what I can gain from taking part, I hope you are too. See you next time.
Today myself and my family spent at least an hour switching around three pieces of furniture from two different rooms. The bed from my room, the pull out sofaish bed from my brothers and another bed from our spare room downstairs.
I’ve spent the last few weeks/months trying to sort out my room trying to change it so it feels better but just by changing the bed and the bed positioning has already made such a difference so I will be going on with my work until I have a room I enjoy spending time in.
This just shows how little changes can do a lot so this is something I’m considering applying to everything else in my life.
Until next time,
Hey! So this is my 2nd blog in under 24 hours but I had to write this before I forgot and when you try and remember what you wanted to write the morning after you never can so here I am.
So oops. It is currently 12.50am here and I have to be in work for 10am today/tomorrow whichever and I’m still awake. On a normal day this would be fine I’d be up in time probably a bit sorry for myself but functional.
Not this time, after getting drunk for the first time ever on Monday night, and yes I do mean the first time; don’t judge me; and along with that not sleeping properly for the past two nights either the most sensible thing to do would have not got out at all but never mind.
I want to see my friends before they all disappear again back to different parts of the country so I thought I’ll go out for a few hours to each event that they’ll be at to see them then go back home to bed.
At first I was doing okay, I went to the open mic night my friend runs and met some people, had a coffee to wake me up and talked to some friends. Then we went to Karaoke in the middle of town…..that’s where it all went down hill.
Karaoke always results in me singing, so I thought I’ll just do one song and then I can go but as you guessed this again didn’t happen so here I am now at 12.55am writing a blog when I should be asleep….works going to love me in the ‘morning’
So I shall leave you with my ramblings if you’ve even read this far and I shall see you next time.
